Otto Laske is the Founder and Director of the Interdevelopmental Institute (IDM), a premier provider of internet based professional education in the application of CDF, the Constructive Developmental Framework, in coaching. He has written and lectured internationally, on “developmental coaching” in contrast to “behavioural coaching” and on their integration since 2000, and has taught students from Asia-Pacific-Oceanea, Europe, and North America.
Since 2000, it has been Otto’s aim to move coaching from an “industry service” to a profession. In his teleconference-based teaching at IDM, Otto makes coaches more effective professionals by certifying them in CDF, a methodology for assessing and giving feedback to clients on:
Assessing, and being able to tie these three dimensions of a client’s functioning together, has been recognized as the most advanced approach to coaching available today.
Otto was born in Poland and educated in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. He combines in his work studies at the Frankfurt School, Germany (PhD 1966), the Kohlberg School at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA (1992-1995), and at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (PsyD 1999). In addition to being a scholar, Otto is also a composer, lyric poet, and visual music artist.
